Restaurant #18 (Buffalo Wild Wings - April 26, 2018)

Ryan and I recently had dinner at the ever so popular Buffalo Wild Wings franchise.  This franchise was founded in 1982 and now has over 1,200 locations across all 50 US states.  In January of 2018, Buffalo Wild Wings moved into the building space that formerly occupied Friendly's in Quakertown.

When you walk in, you are instantly greeted by the glow of 40-50 flat screen TV's playing any and all sports channels that you can imagine.  As a sports fanatic, it's like walking into a giant man cave, that also serves drinks and food.

We were greeted and seated immediately, on the night of the NFL Draft.  It was somewhat busy, as people gathered in groups to eat and watch their team prepare for the future.  Our waitress, Adriana, was very pleasant and walked us through many different items on the menu, including the different sauces you can choose from for your wings.  They have over 20 to choose from!

We decided on the Honey Barbecue wings, the steak quesadilla covered in cheese, and the buffalo chicken wrap.  All of these were recommended by Adriana and are a favorite of the customers that visit B Dubs (A nickname that has been officially established for Buffalo Wild Wings).  The wings came out first and were hot off the plate.  The meat came right off the wings and were delicious.  The quesadilla was a favorite for Ryan and we even saw a guy wearing a "Vote For Pedro" shirt, right after we ordered the quesadilla.  (Any Napoleon Dynamite fans out there?).  Finally, the buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and made for a great topper to the wings that we had started with.

The wings are the most popular item on the menu at B Dubs, but if you are not a wing person, there are many other directions you could head in (Wraps, burgers, appetizers, quesadillas, etc).

The atmosphere was very pleasant, but if you are looking to go and have serious conversation with someone, then good luck because it gets very distracting with a huge TV anywhere you look.  Again, as a sports fan, this atmosphere was perfect for me and Ryan and I loved every minute of it.

Thank you B Dubs for a great experience.  It was on the pricier side, as Ryan and I spent $40 total (We also ordered 2 sodas).  However, the experience far outweighed the cost.

FINAL RATING: 4.2 out of 5

We are back!

Seven years later...

Ryan and I are happy to announce that we are back at it, after much debate and push from our friends.  Don't worry though.  One thing is for sure:  We did not lose our taste buds and there are plenty of new (and old) restaurants that reside in Quakertown and we are excited to share our experiences with you!

For those of you new to this blog, our mission is simple:

Ryan and I want to eat through all of the restaurants in Quakertown (A to Z) and document our journey and experience with you.  We will fill you in on our experience at the restaurant including customer service, cleanliness, price, overall atmosphere and of course the FOOD!  Our objective is to find you the restaurants that you can enjoy a night out with friends, grab a quick bite to eat or potentially avoid altogether.

We hope that you enjoy our ramblings and if you find that we haven't visited a restaurant (We try to do this alphabetically), please let us know!

You can follow us here and don't forget to follow us on our new Instagram page where we will post updates as well!  (Search "eating_thru_quakertown")

Keep an eye out for our next restaurant in the next few weeks...

Until next time,

Derek & Ryan
